As the leading community bank executive on social media, I've led the socially wary to Twitter by communicating return on investment opportunities. I have presented at the Independent Community Bankers Association's National Convention on this topic as well as various chambers of commerce, service clubs, business associations and other trade associations. Our bank's approach that promotes others in our community via social media utilizing cash mobs has received national attention and has been reused throughout the country by other community banks. Additionally, our use of YouTube.com has been highlighted in American Banker magazine and other trade publications, blogs and websites.
